{"id":7943,"date":"2017-02-16T08:45:24","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T13:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.clgw.ca\/Admin\/?p=7943"},"modified":"2017-02-16T08:45:24","modified_gmt":"2017-02-16T13:45:24","slug":"union-petition-clarification-notice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.clgw.ca\/Admin\/2017\/02\/16\/union-petition-clarification-notice\/","title":{"rendered":"Union Petition Clarification Notice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please be advised that there has been a recent petition circulating regarding Community Living Guelph Wellington (CLGW) and Community Living Dufferin (CLD).\u00a0 As an agency, we want to confirm that this is a CUPE union led initiative and not an agency led initiative in any way.<\/p>\n<p>CLGW wants to clarify a couple of points included in the union petition:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In addition to service expansion over the past several years, CLGW received an addition to base funding in 2014-15 in the amount of $793,641. This base funding increase was provided to \u2026 <em>\u201c<\/em><em>support the continued professionalization of developmental services and to support an increase in the salaries and wages of MCSS funded adult developmental services front line workers\u2026\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 This resulted in a 4% increase in staff compensation (salaries plus benefits)<\/li>\n<li>In 2013 CLGW reduced agency-wide service hours by 4,680 per year to assist with our statutory financial obligations.
