WE CONTINUE TO GROW ! Community Living Guelph Wellington continues to grow and expand services to individuals with an intellectual disability. We are looking for people who understand commitment, are dedicated to team play, accept responsibility and are passionate about helping others. You will assist individuals achieve greater independence in daily living, personal care and home management skills. Previous experience is an asset, as is a diploma in a related discipline but we are willing to train candidates who bring other qualities. A valid driver's license and Grade 12 diploma are essential. Orientation and on site training is provided along with First Aid/CPR, NVCI, Whmis and Fire training. A current criminal reference check is also required. Support Worker – Relief Scheduled shifts and call-ins are available. Hours will vary and will include days, evenings, overnights, weekends and stats. Hourly rates between $17.72 -19.59 per hour. You will participate in following personal support plans (PSPs) designed to teach personal welfare, independent living skills and social skills to adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. You will ensure the health and safety of individuals, administer medications and perform other tasks associated with daily living.
