Philip Black has been involved with Community Living for many years. He lives in Fergus, where he lives on his own, works, and participates in programs such as Continuing Education and Cooking Classes at the Community Living Centre in Fergus. Philip really likes the Community Living Centre, and he feels it is a great location.

Person Centred Approach

Community Living Guelph Wellington is committed to a person centred approach to providing services and supports to people.

Planning is based on the needs and desires identified by the person being supported and may include family and/or friends. Supports provided must be adequate and appropriate.
Each person receiving support will have a support plan or lifeplan document that outlines the unique and individual supports and services they desire.
If a person feels a lifeplan is not appropriate or desirable this will be respected, unless clgw is unable to deliver appropriate supports with a Support Plan or Lifeplan
