Community Living Guelph Wellington offers a variety of residential options to people with an intellectual disability. Efforts are made to ensure that each person is accommodated based on their abilities and needs, the type of support they would like, and availability of appropriate supports.

- Supported Independent Living
With each of these residential options , service is provided by support workers who encourage and assist the person to learn and maintain the skills needed to live as independently as possible. The type of support can include budgeting, money handling, food selection and preparation, home maintenance, safety in the home and community, emotional support, self care, support during appointments, medication administration, community involvement, use of leisure time, use of public transportation and accessing other support services in the community.
People who have an intellectual disability experience many benefits from living and participating in their community. These include enhanced life skills, improved independence and responsibility, an expanded network of friends and acquaintances, and an improved concept of self-esteem.
