Community Living Guelph Wellington provides support for people who have an intellectual disability in residential settings or “group homes”. Residential settings or group homes have two or more people sharing a home with each person receiving support from support workers up to 24 hours per day.
The residential settings are home-like, accommodate people based on their abilities and care requirements and can include seniors, medically fragile, and people who experience challenging behaviours.
The residential settings or homes are located in neighbourhoods in Guelph, Fergus, Hillsburgh, Erin, and Mount Forest.
To inquire about initiating services for a person with an intellectual disability, call Developmental Services Ontario Central West Region at 1-888-941-1121 or email at dso@dscwr.com. This is Central Intake for all developmental service agencies in Wellington County.
