Christopher is a resident of North Wellington who receives passport funding. Since COVID-19, Christopher has not had the opportunity to explore his creative side.
Christopher has previously enjoyed scrapbooking so his passport worker reached out to a local scrapbook store to see if they could offer a space to work on projects. Younique Scrapbook Store in Mount Forest offered scrapbook classes to Christopher as frequently as desired.
During Christopher’s first class, his passport worker noticed a smile on his face, which has been a rare occurrence. Christopher has since completed 3 scrapbooking classes and has increased his skills and independence with placing the pieces and pictures.
Christopher hopes to reconnect with a friend through the scrapbooking class – an interest that they both share. Scrapbooking today, a town of opportunity tomorrow!
