We are currently looking to recruit an instructor to join the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention team in training our employees. This will be in addition to your current position and responsibilities.
The person will be required to attend training for the position. To get a sense of the training process, follow the link and open one of the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training programs offered: https://www.crisisprevention.com/Training-and-Events
We are seeking an instructor who is flexible to changes in schedule. As we continue to build our onboarding process, there may be a need to train on evenings and weekends. The estimated time commitment is 2 training sessions per month: 8 hours for a Full Certification session and 4 hours for a Re-certification session.
Considering that this is a high cost and time investment, we expect a two-year commitment from the successful candidate.
If you’re interested, please send your application expressing your interest in the position and outlining your teaching/facilitating experience.
Contact your Supervisor to discuss how to accommodate the additional hours and make sure they agree to this. Supervisors’ acknowledgment needs to be included in the application.
Candidates may be contacted for an interview. Please send your application to Marcy Glass by Friday September 24, 2021. Any questions you may have about the position may also be directed to Marcy.
