The position overview is as follows:

This role receives calls and enquiries regarding facilities and information technology issues and dispatches supports accordingly. Your excellent communication skills and organizational ability will assist you in prioritizing requests and meeting the demands of a multi-location agency which provides mental health and developmental services throughout Waterloo and Wellington. Duties associated with this position include the daily scheduling and assignment of facilities, IT and housing work orders using a software package; liaising with contractors and staff to arrange service and obtain quotes; prioritizing requisition orders and other administrative tasks associated with IT and facilities. This role will require you to work day shifts (8:30 am to 4:30pm) Monday through Friday, with some flexibility required to meet the demands of the role.

Facilitation Wellington Dufferin Apprenticeship

Facilitation Wellington Dufferin (FWD) offers independent facilitation and planning support to adults who have a developmental disability in Wellington and Dufferin Counties. They are looking to hire for their Facilitator Mentoring Program. In this program, an “Apprentice” Facilitator will have a chance to work together with an experienced mentor, a number of adults with a developmental disability, and their closest supporters (usually family members and friends) as they think about and work towards building a good life in their community.

CLGW JULY FAMILY INFORMATION SESSIONS – UPDATE

As a result of low numbers (ie less than 6) of RSVPs, the following 2 July sessions ARE CANCELLED:

July 20th – Guelph Claire A/B Boardroom Administration Building

July 25th – Fergus Base

There are already enough RSVPs to run the July 31st session so please RSVP for that one if you wish to attend. We will set up another round of sessions in October 2017.

July 31st – Guelph Claire A/B Boardroom Administration Building

  • Session will run from 6:30 pm- 7:30 pm; Everyone is welcome!
  • RSVPs are being requested to ensure proper space and minimum #s are met – please call or email Fern Donaldson at 519-824-2480 or admin@clgw.ca to confirm which session you wish to attend

Memo from the Finance Department

June 23, 2017

Subject:  Credit Card Usage – CLGW’s or Personal

  • CLGW’s Visa card resides at the Finance Department’s office
  • No charges can be made without communicating transaction details to our office
  • All charges made on the CLGW card must have the receipts or other backup documentation submitted immediately to visa@clgw.ca OR brought into the office
  • Names, and/or account numbers, department nos must be printed clearly on the receipt or in the e-mail
  • Use of personal debit or credit cards are discouraged unless for whatever reason there is not an option to use the company card
  • Reimbursement of personal charges on one’s own card are in all cases to be made by CLGW and not by the People We Support
  • If the PWS are responsible for paying for an item, trip, or cottage then reimbursement is to be made to the Finance Department at 8 Royal Road in Guelph
